Fleet Parts are a distributor of The MEI Automatic Slack Adjuster (ASA) which is manufactured by Madras Engineering Industries Ltd, who have manufactured Manual Slack Adjusters for over twenty years. They currently produce over 750,000 slack adjusters a year. Fleet Parts Ltd. have been distributing MEI Automatic Adjusters since the year 2000.

John Bruce (UK) Ltd. is responsible for the marketing and distribution of the MEI ASA and S-ASA (Self-setting Automatic Slack Adjusters) throughout the world.

The Madras factories are certified to ISO 9002 & QS 9000 by TÜV. The MEI (ASA’s) have been tested to ABE by TuV in Germany and to SAE J1462 by Link Testing Labs of Detroit, Michigan, USA. It is supplied, in ‘own brand’ form, to Original Equipment Manufacturers and Tier One System Supplies in Europe and North America.

The MEI ASA and S-ASA (Self Setting Automatic Slack Adjuster) is currently distributed to OEM’s and aftermarket stockists in over 60 countries throughout the world.

Fleet Parts were involved with the evaluation of the MEI product back in the late 90’s at the request of John Bruce. We have MEI’s Testing Equipment on site, and so we have an excellent Technical background, & knowledge of the product.

We have recently begun to distribute the new QAS range of ASA’s manufactured by MEI.
